twenty five, six and seven weeks. I seem to have a theme going on color wise.
These past few weeks have gone quite well. For a long time I felt really super good. Like other than the fact I have a big giant belly now I felt pretty much like I did when I wasn't pregnant. Maybe a little more fragile in the back and neck areas and a bit sleepier, but super good still. In the past week little pregnancy things have started to sneak back in. For instance I was walking home from the bank and started feeling woozy and sweaty and started to see sparkly little dots. I promptly sat down on the curb with my feet in the street. After about five minutes I was feeling mostly normal so I walked the hundred meters to our home. Also the muscles or whatever that seem to be the ones holding up baby have started to ache again, and my guts feel out of sorts, but other than all that I am still feeling quite well.
Baby has stopped punching me and has started a more wiggly sort of thing. Usually she just feels kind of like a fish flopping around in there, but sometimes her wriggling is so violently I am pretty sure she is having a claustrophobic panic attack like I have when I can't free myself from a sweater.
In slightly other news we bought a 'new' car! Its a Subaru and our initiation is complete. We are officially northwesterners. I don't know if you can tell, but the car behind ours is also a Subaru. A less racecarlooking one though. We got a good deal on the car (who Cory's named Gipsy Danger) and I think she's pretty cool looking. This is the first remotely cool car I have ever had in my possession. She's got all these cool features and things but I am most excited about the fact that she:
Unlocks from the inside as well as locks
All her door handles work, from both sides
The windows roll up, even when the radio and ac are on
She gets faster when you push down on the gas
And stops when you depress the brake
Now I love Hooch, our current car, but he can't do any of those things so I'm pretty excited! Gipsy Danger doesn't have insurance or anything yet though so we don't actually drive her yet, but when we do it'll be awesome!
here are the photos from our independence day celebration. It started out with a parade which featured a pirate ship with a foot long cannon that made the loudest exploding sound I have ever heard!
then we went to a lakeside park.
We went with a new couple from our ward and their baby. They are close to our ages and really cool.
they recently purchased the same inflatable canoe you can see in this photo and were eager to try it out.
We were eager to try out our not really new, but unused cool little barbeque.
both of our new toys worked out swimmingly! While they were out on the lake a couple of crows and ducks came up to us, trying to steal our food, then turning their backs when I tried to photograph them. We also saw a bald eagle! Rascally birds.
